We work around your schedule - not ours. Tell us what works for you and we'll make it happen. And because garage door problems don't follow a 9-to-5 schedule - neither do we. We're here evenings, Sundays and holidays. Whether your door breaks on a Sunday morning before a family gathering or on Christmas Eve when you need to get the car out - we pick up the phone (except on Shabbat and Jewish holidays).

The Repair - Done Right, Done Safe
Once you're comfortable and give us the go-ahead, we get to work. Our trucks are stocked with parts for all major brands - springs, cables, rollers, hinges, sensors, opener components. In most cases, we complete the repair the same visit.
On the rare occasion that a special part is needed, we'll be back the same day or the next morning. We don't disappear. We follow through - every time.

1 Stop Garage Door is a husband-and-wife business on Long Island. Abby answers the phone and runs the office, and many problems get solved right there on the phone: a lock button left on at the wall control, dirty or misaligned safety sensors, a tripped GFCI outlet, the manual lock engaged, or a remote with a dead battery. When the door needs hands-on work, Michael comes out himself and gives you the price in writing before he starts. Before he leaves, he programs your remotes and shows you how to open the door by hand if the power goes out.

- Hours: We're closed on Shabbat and Jewish holidays; on Fridays we close 2 hours before Shabbat. After Shabbat and holidays end, we answer the phone and handle urgent calls when a technician is available. Nights, Sundays and holidays add $75.
- Warranty: Every job comes with a written warranty - 3 years on repairs, and 5-10 years on new garage door installations, depending on the door. Openers we supply carry our 3-year warranty plus the manufacturer's own warranty, which you activate by registering the opener with the manufacturer.
